Chronoblog

guess where the devil is?

20 Feb 2012

Following the counter-top rehab project, I’m setting the backsplash / trim pieces, and realizing what a pain in the ass it is to be a professional. That little piece of trim needs its own tiny border channel on all sides, in order for the clear silicon to sit with any reliability. Here’s the uninteresting photo of masking and preparing the silicon job.

Well, would be uninteresting if it weren’t for the tiles dancing in the background. I guess that’s where the devils can get lost… just leave me the detail.

Oh, and before I forget, today’s product recommendation is 3M masking tape, type 233+. It’s not the type that will fall to bits and tiny ribbons when removed, it comes off in one piece every time. Much easier than the standard tape to clean up. This is not turning into a content farm blog, I’m just saying: it’s good stuff.
