1/6 year anniversary

28 MAY 2011
I'd write here to tell you that the project is complete, as we come to the one year anniversary of our move in to 76 Melbourne St. Coincidentally, our sixth year wedding anniversary also falls on this fine day in May. Ahh to be silly and in love, writing your wedding invitations on notecards, acting very serious for half a day, and then throwing something of a rager that doesn't end until daylight...

I dodatkowo, wszystkiego najlepszego zycze Matce Marty, z okazji urodzin we Wroclawiu!

But, to return to the first subjunctive, I can not say the project is complete. In fact I don't even want to think of all of the things still left to do. The renovation will continue into the foreseeable future, at the recently changed pace of life. Plus half the fun is in writing this blog, about all of the damn protracted progress.

This is kind of where we are-- the fresh bread made by Marta, side by side with the linesman's pliers, where I set them after mounting the overhead kitchen fixtures. The kitchen is where the surfaces are, and ends up being the central area for all manner of projects by default: be it wiring, baking, washing Willy.

I'm posting this late at night, after a nap, with the inspiration fueled by some of the other blogs out there that originate in Portland Maine. These are serious blogs – Honda Preludes to my little civic here, with real web optimized formatting, readable shit, and their own logos:
